8:16. సెరూయా కుమారుడైన యోవాబు సర్వసైన్యాధ్యక్షుడయ్యాడు. అహీలూదు కుమారుడగు యెహోషాపాతు చరిత్రకారుడు పత్ర లేఖకుడుగా నియమితుడయ్యాడు.

8:16. సెరూయా కుమారుడగు యోవాబు సైన్యమునకు అధి పతియై యుండెను. అహీలూదు కుమారుడగు యెహోషా పాతు రాజ్యపు దస్తావేజులమీద నుండెను.

8:16. Joab son of Zeruiah was general in command of the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was secretary;
